Tips and Tricks SpaceGirl for Battlefield 2.

Tips and Tricks

We have all played with commanders and people who act like they are the best (cough *evil* cough), but in reallity they are noobs. The type of noobs that are so fun to laugh at. To help you NOT become one of them, here are some tips and tricks. Send a message to Spacegirl if you have anything to add.

General

- No matter what always look out for UAV's. You can know if you in the scan by the fact the UAV only flies on the very edge scan distance. So if it flies over you, you are in the scan.
- Look for enemy supplies and car drops, usually a enemy is near that area.
- When capping a flag and you kill someone in the beginning of that capping, there is a high chance that they will spawn at that flag and attack you.
- Watch the map for disappearing idle vehicles, jets, helicopters, armor, and APCs. On you mini map.
- If you want easy points, take flags. Get a buddy and a car, and take flags with them.

Commander

- Time it takes to artillery to reach the target= 15 seconds
- Artillery can go through tin roofs of sheds
- Drop time for cars and supplies= 8 seconds.
- When putting a UAV up make it so the plane icon is not on enemy dots.
- When playing commander don't play in air assents.
- If you see someone taking a flag or going to take flag put up a UAV.
- When dropping supplies be careful. You can and will give away a person's position.
- If a squad asks for something it usually means they have a good reason. Give it to them.

Squad Leaders

- Commanders can't hear you squad members. If the members ask for something, and if you can, pass it on to the commander.
- You are a spawn point. Play medic so you can heal yourself and don't play in jets or choppers.

Choppers

- Always look around you as an enemy chopper can be hiding everywhere.
- When you run out of TV missles and go back for a refill, always switch to your gunner tv position before engaging an enemy. The Tv missles has to reload after the refill.
- When you cap flags with a chopper always use your 3th person view. This view has more range.

Planes

- A Good way to get a jet off your tail is to slow down and let it pass you.
This way you will surprise the enemy and have a chance to get behind him.
- Do not use your flares too fast! Wait a few seconds.
- Using your back view will help you see if there are enely jets on your tail.

APC's/Tanks

- If there is a supply crate. Don't destroy. Use first. If you having a APC/tank fight put yourself between the supplies and the enemy. You get repair as you battle.
- Aim for the wheels or tracks when fighting. If that is not possible aim for where the turret and the body meets.
- Always drive into enemy tanks and APC. It does cause damage (to you too) if you are going fast enough. (Have to be willing to die to do this.)
- If you can get someone, play in two heavy-armored vehicles as engineers. You repair each other and you can become a nearly unstoppable force.
- You can kill someone who is hiding behind something, by shooting the ground near them.

Cars

- Best to be use to get away and to a flag.
- Also used to C4 ram.
- Slide down side ways make little to no damage to your car.
- If a chopter sees you and is coming, drive towards them. They get one shot to kill you, and if you survive get out and hid away from the car.

AA station and vehicle

- Don't sit in the AA station, you are a sitting duck to everything.
- The stations do reload by themselves, so hop out and run. There is a good chance you have drawn a chopper to you.
- Don't shoot right as you lock on. They will pop flares. After the flare disappear then fire. Unless you saw them pop flares right as you got on the station.
- If an enemy infantry is running towards you in a station, shot the ground in front of them. It will kill or injury them.
